+ Pole Princess- Beginners

+ Beginner Level
+
We’ll start with a good stretch and warm up consisting of some basic dance
moves and steps. Occasionally we will also warm up by doing
some floor work.

We’ll then move onto the poles for more stretching concentrating on the
muscles you will use the most on the pole.
+
This is then followed by some Pole Conditioning (concentrated exercises to
build strength on the pole).
+
You will then learn the new content for the class and also go over moves you
already know. This includes pole tricks and transitions.

Before our hour is up we will add onto a simple routine that we build on every
week, giving you something exciting and sharp to show your partner or friends!
+ Class always finishes with a cool down and stretch.

Intermediate Level
The class structure is the same as the beginner classes however the content
is of a higher level, beginning on inversions (upside down), more complex transitions
and trick combinations. We also work on more complicated routines.
+ Wondering what to wear?
The most important thing is that you are comfortable, both physically and mentally.
Most ladies wear gym style clothing which is non-restrictive. Some ladies
like to wear three quarter or long pants. We highly recommend shorts
as you will find them safer i.e. you can use the friction of your skin to help
grip and control your tricks.
In terms of footwear, bare feet is fine. If you experience trouble with
your ankles or feet, then please bring your joggers. After a few lessons
you are welcome to wear boots or high hells while you are dancing.
+ What not to wear?
Jeans, watches, bangles, bracelets and rings. These often are restrictive, get
in the way and also damage the poles.
